Seasons and Holidays
Inspirations

I LOVE the four seasons, especially fall.  I can relate to the George Eliot saying below.  I also love the holidays!

"Come, said the wind to the leaves one day,
Come o're the meadows and we will play.
Put on your dresses scarlet and gold,
For summer is gone and the days grow cold."
--A Children's Song of the 1880's

"Delicious Autumn!
My very soul is wedded to it,
and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth
seeking the successive autumns."
--George Eliot (1819-1880)

Snowflakes are God's voice in a whisper,
escorted to earth by angels.

To everything there is a season--
A time to keep and a time to let go.
--Ecclesiastes 3:1,6

There is a time for everything,
And a season for every activity under heave:
A time to be born and a time to die
A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
A time to embrace and a time to refrain,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.
--Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

People come into your life for a reason,
a season or a lifetime.
When you figure out which it is,
you know exactly what to do.
--Michelle Ventor

Each moment of the year has it's own beauty...
A picture which was never seen before
and which shall never be seen again.
--Emerson

I believe in Santa's cause.

The Gingerbread Man is:
The Perfect Man!
He's quiet.  He's sweet.
And if he gives you any crap
You can bite his head off!
